When you make your own fragrance at Fragranzi, You are the Perfumer…

Much like what we like to eat and listen to, everyone has their own preference when it comes to fragrance. And on top of that, certain fragrances can trigger certain memories for each and every person. With an infinite number of combinations, the process of finding what your olfactory system really enjoys is hugely satisfying, and can be quite a cathartic experience.

Fragranzi is the place where artistry and science combine. We are fascinated by the way that fragrance is able to affect us emotionally, and we wanted to develop a way to share the process of blending fragrances with anyone who was interested in trying. Traditionally, the art of perfumery requires a lot of knowledge, know-how, patience and practical experience. But with our co-founder Conan’s science background as a foundation, our in-house bespoke design system allows anyone to methodically test a number of fragrance combinations before committing to mixing the actual ingredients. The only thing that will get in the way of your endless creativity is fragrance fatigue (but we have coffee beans on standby for that…!). If you’re dying to know more, you’ll just have to pop in and see it for yourself.

The process goes something like this: explore fragrance combinations, decide on your favourite blend, choose your bottle size, name your fragrance, and your perfume will be ready to take home shortly afterwards. You’ll want to allow between 45-75 minutes from start to finish.

• We begin by taking you through the principles of fragrance, introducing you to some base blends that you might like to start with, and showing you around the studio. Scroll to the bottom of this page to read about these base blends.

• We are here to answer any questions or offer suggestions as you explore fragrance combinations. Start thinking about a name for your personal fragrance too

• We will then supervise the actual creation of your perfume into your chosen bottle size

• When your fragrance is bottled, we’ll help you print a label from our template options

• Then we’ll make sure your blend information is recorded for when you wish to make a re-order

• Et voilà you’re good to go - and you smell fabulous!

• $65 - includes 1 x 15 mL bottle of your perfume (eau de toilette), named, labelled, with a coloured bag of your choice to take away

• $90 - includes 1 x 50 mL bottle of your perfume (eau de toilette), named, labelled, with a coloured bag of your choice to take awayOther things to note:

• Additional bottles of the same perfume can be purchased at a reduced price e.g. $65 (50 mL) or $35 (15 mL) for eau de toilette

• Alternatively, you can choose from a range of other final products containing your fragrance: eau de parfum 15 mL ($80) or 50 mL ($110); hand lotion 80 grams ($65); body oil 100 mL ($65); room spray 100 mL ($65) or room diffuser 75 mL ($65)

• There is a minimum charge for the experience but if you cannot complete your own perfume design, you may substitute with any 15 mL bottle selected from The Fragranzi Collection - our own range of fine fragrances, designed by Fragranzi’s professional perfumer

• If you have a voucher for a 50ml bottle, and you cannot complete your own perfume design, you may substitute with any 15ml bottle from The Fragranzi Collection as well as a $25 voucher or a credit towards any other product in the studio

• Children (12 years and under) may make their own fragrance for $55 (15 mL bottle) or $80 (50 mL)
